Lavender Ceremony (formerly Lambda Celebration)

We are So Proud

Each June, we present our Lambda Awards at our annual Lavender Ceremony (formerly called the Lambda Celebration). For more than twenty years it has been our chance to pay tribute to the individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to our LGBTQ+community. For 2024, we will also recognize Toi Thibodeaux as an Icon our of community!

The event also salutes graduating students, our leadership scholarship recipients, and those graduating with a minor in Queer Studies. Other folx are also specially acknowledged by students for their support with our You Got Me Through Awards.

The evening includes a guest speaker keynote and a delicious catered meal. Graduates don rainbow tassels and lavender cords as a commemorative touch to this celebratory night.
