Lavender Celebration
We are So Proud
UCR's Lavender Celebration salutes graduating Highlanders. Students don rainbow tassels and lavender cords as a commemorative touch to this celebratory night. Graduating students also recognize others for their support with our You Got Me Through awards.
In addition, we present our Lambda Awards selected by the Chancellor's Advisory Committee. For more than 25 years, the Lambda Awards have paid tribute to the individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to our LGBTQ+ community.
Lavender Celebration is held during Week 10 of Spring Quarter.
