The David Bohnett CyberCenter is open during regular center hours.
The David Bohnett CyberCenter at UCR opened in 2006, and has expanded in 2008 and 2011 through the generous support of the David Bohnett Foundation.

UCR LGBT Resource Center Hosts Re-Grand Opening Jan. 12
New technology grant adds services to David Bohnett CyberCenter
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (www.ucr.edu) – The UC Riverside Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Resource Center celebrates the Re-Grand Opening of the David Bohnett CyberCenter Jan. 12 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in 245 Costo Hall.
Through a "refresh" grant from the David Bohnett Foundation, the David Bohnett CyberCenter now offers upgraded computers, access to a color laser printer, and a desktop publishing station featuring PhotoShop, PageMaker, and a scanner.
"The CyberCenter has been one of the most popular resources in the LGBTRC since we opened in our new space in 2007," says center director Nancy Tubbs. "It's not only a great academic resource for UCR students, but also a safe, social space for LGBT students and allies to gather."
The LGBTRC is among 24 locations with David Bohnett CyberCenters that received computer upgrades. Technology entrepreneur and philanthropist Bohnett started the CyberCenters in 2004 to provide LGBT communities with a "wired" hub through which members could network, communicate and explore educational, professional and recreational opportunities.
The David Bohnett CyberCenter is open during regular center hours, including evening hours until 8pm Monday-Thursday and 6pm on Fridays. The five PC computers are named after Audre Lorde, Bayard Rustin, Harvey Milk, Molly Ivins, and Sylvia Rivera.
