Our Campus

UC Riverside is one of the nation’s top campuses for LGBT students. Not only is it the most diverse university in California, and sixth most in the nation, it is also ranked as a five-star campus on the LGBT-friendly Campus Climate Index. We earned the highest score attainable in terms of quality of life.

Part of why we scored so high is because our compassion for students goes far beyond just the LGBT Resource Center. It expands out across campus and touches every facet of UCR, making it an affirming, welcoming educational environment.

Our campus has also been home to some groundbreaking strides for the LGBT community. Learn more about our history and milestones.

We continue our pioneering presence today and invite you to explore some of the reasons why we are such a dynamic campus for those who identify as LGBT or allies.
