Are there any regional LGBT conferences I can attend?

The UCLA Queer Studies Conference is held every October. The Western Regional LGBTQIA College Conference is held every February at rotating host campuses.

Does the Graduate Student Health Insurance Program (GSHIP) cover Trans health benefits?

Yes! Hormone therapy and sex reassignment surgeries are covered. Learn more about campus health insurance and trans health coverage.

I am a teaching assistant. Where can I find resources for teaching in the classroom?

You are welcome to print out any of our helpful handouts for your classroom. You may also borrow materials from our library including films that are licensed for educational use. You may also want to invite one of our student panels to come to your classroom.

What is LGBTQ Grad Student Hour?

At Grad Student Hour, LGBTQ graduate students gather informally for community building and conversation. Grad students meet in the LGBT Resource Center's meeting room at 245 Costo Hall weekly on Wednesdays winter quarter. Please see our calendar for upcoming meeting times.
