Angie Baltimore

Angela L. Baltimore
was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to teenage parents. After graduating from the Historical Little Rock Central High School, she attended Bennett College for Women in Greensboro, North Carolina. Angela earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology and is currently pursing a Masters degree in College Student Personnel Services and Administration at the University of Central Arkansas. From early on she has been interested social justice and civil rights for all humankind. Angela has been active in Upward Bound were she taught Spanish to college bound students. She has also served as mentor, advisor, and consultant to different organizations on campus. Her special interests are Student Affairs and Global Studies. Primarily because of special relationships that were nurtured while attending Bennett College, Angela has described her lessons at Bennett College as the “Best Lessons” ever learned outside of her mothers’ home. Angela has a special nephew, named DJ.
Katy Weseman
graduated from Carleton College in 2002 with a major in Women's and Gender Studies. At Carleton she was active in the Women's and Gender Studies Program and served as a leader in the Collective for Women's Issues and several other feminist organizations. Since graduating, Katy has worked as a youth case manager at the Center on Halsted, an LGBT social service agency in Chicago, and as the Aquatic Director at a YMCA also in Chicago. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Education Program: Higher Education Administration and Policy and works full time in the Gender Studies Program, both at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Katy is excited to be spending a portion of her summer interning at UCR, learning more about working with LGBT programs in higher education.
