Undergraduate Experience Survey

For the first time, the University of California is counting the LGBT student population!

UCUES - University of California Undergraduate Experience Survey - has added 2 new demographic questions regarding Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity. Please read more below, and then TAKE THE SURVEY BY CLICKING HERE.

Below are the 2 new demographic question. Please note the following:
  • The survey only allows you to select one response per question.
  • Your "sex" (like your "race/ethnicity") is pulled from your UC student record. Thus, the Gender Identity question is separate.
  • The survey is confidential. However, because you must enter your Student Identification Number, the survey is not anonymous.
  • When you click to take the survey, you can read more about "Protecting your privacy."
